Before you Start

You will need an inexpensive New Testament to hand out at the beginning of your first lesson. It's important that the same version be used in a group so that page numbers are uniform—easy finding
Give a warm introduction to welcome everyone
Explain that it’s being run by Power to Change – we are non-denominational and do not want to push any particular denominational line. Rather, we will be looking at facts on which there is general agreement among the churches
Assure them, 'You won't be asked to pray, or read the Bible out loud or asked to answer questions unless they want to — there will, however, be ample opportunity for discussion'.
Encourage them to do the whole six weeks as each study leads on to the next.
Ask if there are any questions about how the group is to operate.
